Led by The Fitness Project, the Aqua Fitness program at the Urban Sports and Wellness Week promises a full-body workout that will work participants to the core

Looking to cool off from the tropical heat of Singapore? Come make waves with us at the Aqua Fitness event at the inaugural Urban Sports and Wellness Week then.

Taking place on the morning of Sunday, 13 November 2022 at the rooftop swimming pool of ibis Budget Singapore Clarke Quay hotel with a view overlooking the scenic Singapore river, you're promised a workout you won't get anywhere else.

Incorporating a well-known program by The Fitness Project in preceding years known as Hydro Fit, participants will climb atop floating boards in the swimming pool, with a combination of exercises both on the boards and in the pool that is designed to improve your balance, strength and core.

What is HydroFit?

If you think you can master burpees or the warrior pose on the land, then take it to the next level and try to do it on water.

HydroFit by The Fitness Project is a HIIT and yoga inspired workout taken onto the water, with the choppiness of the water serving as a natural element to improve your balance and stability, making it a great choice for an injury prevention, low-impact, cardio workout choice.

Previous HydroFit classes were known for a good balance of individual and pair work, and incorporated various yoga poses and HIIT moves such as burpees, jump squats and ball work.

What Participants Can Expect

The one thing participants should expect is to get wet. As much as you wish to stay dry, we have rarely seen a participant stay totally dry by the end of a HydroFit class.

Anyway, falling into the pool is part of the fun and not doing so does take something away from the overall experience!

You will want to bring along swimwear or athleisure wear that you aren't afraid of getting wet in, some sunblock and hydration. Towels will be provided by ibis Budget Singapore Clarke Quay.
