Is there a song that motivates you?
Khadijah: I would say the song that motivates me most is "All Eyes on Me" by Tupac Shakur.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Khadijah: I can never let go of my first Asian Games experience when I was only 17 years-old, that was my first Major Games and I managed to bag the bronze medal.
What kind of people do you get your energy from, and where do you find those people?
Khadijah: I am very blessed with a very healthy small circle which includes my cousins, my sister and not to forget my parents - I love spending time with my mom. People who push me on, especially when I am at my lowest, which is like right now (dealing with injury). They are a small and cosy group but they mean a lot to me.
What is one resolution last year, you did not fulfil?
Khadijah: I've got two - one would be my sporting performance, and the other would be having to put me first. So this year I think I am well gathered to put myself first, and then focus on my sporting performance which I never really get to achieve last year. Insyallah hopefully everything will go smoothly for me.
What is your favourite hobby outside of sports?
Khadijah: This may sound odd, but I like to clean. I like to clean a lot laughs
