While we can’t wait to Shake it Off with our best friends to some of our favourite songs under A Sky Full of Stars, here are some tips that we should all be Thinking Out Loud for an enjoyable experience at the Singapore Sports Hub.

Take public transport and arrive early

On event days, congestion is expected due to the high volume of visitors and event-goers. For a stress-free start to your evening, arrive early at least 30 to 60 minutes before event time.

Take public transport so you don’t get held up by traffic or trying to find parking. Find out more about the available train and bus options here.

Purchase Merchandise from the Official Merchandise Booth

Arriving early could also give concert-goers more time to buy merchandise at the Official Merchandise Booths or grab a bite before the event. Merchandise booths can typically be found outside the concert venue. Patrons can read up on the exact locations and operating hours of the merchandise booths in the event guide of that concert.

Merchandise sold at the official booths are verified and identifiable so you can even use them immediately in the venue without facing any issues.

Remember, it is always best to steer clear of purchasing from unauthorised sellers as those items being sold could potentially infringe copyright and put you at risk of being denied entry into the venue. But that doesn’t mean you can’t still dress up in theme! Have you decided which Taylor Swift era you will be dressing up as come March?

Besides purchasing merchandise, fuel up with a meal with the variety of food options available at Kallang Wave Mall before the concert. Outside food and beverages are not allowed in the event venues, but fret not as light snacks and refreshments will be available for purchase.

Travel light and avoid bringing prohibited items

The Singapore Sports Hub is dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable, and fun environment for its patrons. To avoid any delays to your itinerary for the evening, read up on the event guide on the Singapore Sports Hub event page before your event.

Leave unnecessary items at home and make more room for all the official merchandise you are going to snag. This will also help speed up the security bag-check process and shorten your waiting time to enter the venue.

Get your tickets from Authorised Ticketing Partners

Ensure that you purchase your tickets from the right places!

The venue owner reserves the right to refuse entry to or remove any person from the venue if their tickets were not purchased from the Authorised Ticketing Partners for that specific event i.e., SISTIC, Ticketmaster, Ticketek.

Download your e-ticket in advance and have it ready so that you don’t have to scroll through your email to look for the attachments at the door. As the full ticket is required, download the entire ticket file instead of only taking a screenshot of the ticket barcode/QR code.

Check the Event Guide and plan ahead

Check the Event Guide of your specific event on the Singapore Sports Hub website for the information you would need to plan your itinerary before the event.

With that sorted, all that’s left to do is enjoy the music, embrace the atmosphere, and create lasting memories!
