For runners in Singapore preparing for endurance races like the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon or athletes training for hybrid fitness events like HYROX, consistent and structured training is key to peak performance. Whether you're chasing a personal best or simply aiming to complete your first race, joining a run club that offers a structured training program can give you access to professional coaching, community support, and weekly training sessions tailored to your goals.

Structured Runs with Credible Coaching

While many gyms have jumped on the running hype and formed their own run communities in order to keep members within their ecosystem in the lead up to HYROX, some are new to running themselves and may lead without the relevant run-specific experience or appropriate coaching backgrounds in endurance sports to do so.

Here we highlight five top avenues in Singapore where runners can join structured training programs to get race-ready.

1. PUMA Nitro Run Club Singapore

The PUMA Nitro Run Club offers a well-organised platform for runners of all levels, led by experienced coaches and pacers.

Held weekly on every Tuesday and one Saturday a month in central locations like the Singapore Sports Hub, Bishan Stadium and Marina Bay, these sessions focus on speed work, endurance building, and form correction—perfect for all levels of runners and HYROX athletes looking to boost cardiovascular fitness.

Led by head coach Jacky Ong, weekly sessions offer customised workouts for those tackling the 5KM / 10KM / HYROX, Half Marathon and Full Marathon distances.
