Singapore, 25 September 2022 - Homeground Sports Pte Ltd unveiled Singapore's freshest sporting experience with its new facility at Woodlands Recreation Centre - featuring over 15,000 square feet of premium athletic surface with patented shock absorption technology.

Together with the retractable netting system in place, Homeground envisions itself as being a new breed of sports facility, which is adaptable and multi-purposed, with a focus of intelligently using the space.

As part of the official launch held on Saturday, 24 September, Homeground hosted a Futsal Tournament for U8s, U10s, Womens and Veteran Divisions, which was duly followed by a Homeground Heroes Game featuring ex national footballers as well as football and sports personalities.

Homground Sports ambassador Isa Halim was joined by fellow Singapore football legend Shahril Ishak in the ribbon cutting exercise which officially launched the new sports facility to public, before the two former Singapore internationals captained their respective teams in the celebrity football match.

SportPlus.sg understands from Homeground Sports that the facility can be used for other court sports beyond futsal such as floorball or netball, with the three courts now available for booking.
