Community leaders, commercial partners, and sporting stakeholders were invited to experience the vision behind The Sports Arina’s flagship development, which aims to serve as a future-ready, inclusive sports and wellness hub for residents across North-East Singapore.

Singapore, 19 January 2026 — The Sports Arina (TSA) has taken a major step toward reshaping the heartland sports landscape with an exclusive TSA @ Jalan Kayu Preview, offering invited guests a first look at what will soon become the largest privately operated multi-sports venue in the Jalan Kayu area.
The preview event welcomed community leaders, commercial partners, and sporting stakeholders to experience the vision behind TSA’s flagship development, which aims to serve as a future-ready, inclusive sports and wellness hub for residents across North-East Singapore.
The milestone event was graced by Ng Chee Meng, Adviser to Jalan Kayu Grassroots Organisations, highlighting the venue’s role in strengthening community bonds through sport and active living.
A Premium Community Sports Hub Built for All Ages

Designed as a welcoming yet high-quality destination, TSA @ Jalan Kayu brings together an extensive range of sporting and wellness facilities under one roof. The venue will feature Badminton, Contrast Therapy, Futsal, Gymnastics, Padel, Pilates, Pickleball, Swimming, and Table Tennis, catering to families, youths, seniors, recreational players, and aspiring athletes alike.
By combining premium infrastructure with accessible programming, TSA aims to establish Jalan Kayu as a key node in Singapore’s growing ecosystem of community-driven sports facilities.
Strong Athlete Partnerships Signal Long-Term Vision

The preview also saw the presence of TSA’s key sporting partners, including Singapore Olympic champions Joseph Schooling and Feng Tian Wei, alongside representatives from Lion City Sailors Football Club.
Their attendance underscored TSA’s commitment to supporting athletes beyond elite competition and creating platforms for sustained involvement in sport.
“Our partnerships with athletes like Feng Tian Wei and Joseph Schooling are rooted in a shared belief that sport should remain a lifelong pursuit,” said Richard Tan, Owner of The Sports Arina. “Everything we build is guided by our Game For Life philosophy — delivering happiness, health, and connection through sport.”

Structured Pathways for Youth and Grassroots Development
At TSA @ Jalan Kayu, Sports Schooling, founded by Joseph Schooling, will operate its learn-to-swim arm Swim Lab, delivering a structured swimming pathway for children aged three and above. Lessons will be conducted in a heated learner pool designed for safety, comfort, and progression from beginner to intermediate levels.
Meanwhile, Lion City Sailors Football School will offer programmes for children aged 4 to 12 at the Jalan Kayu facility, focusing on recreational and foundational football development. The curriculum emphasises enjoyment of the game, physical literacy, teamwork, and confidence-building — key pillars of long-term athlete development.

A Gathering Place for Sport, Wellness and Community Life
Speaking at the event, Mr Ng Chee Meng highlighted the venue’s broader social impact.
“The Sports Arina @ Jalan Kayu is more than just a sports venue. It is a gathering place for our residents to come together, stay active and build bonds,” he said, adding that the facility will help families, youths and seniors embrace healthier lifestyles and stronger community connections.

Setting the Stage for North-East Singapore’s Sporting Future
The TSA @ Jalan Kayu Preview marks a key milestone ahead of the venue’s official opening, setting the stage for a new chapter in accessible, community-centred sport in Singapore’s North-East. By blending professional management with inclusive programming, TSA aims to become a natural meeting point where sport, wellness, and everyday life intersect.
