About the Event
Launched in Singapore in June 2025, The Great Ocean Dash is a nationwide ocean conservation campaign that brings corporates, communities and individuals together to take action through beach and underwater cleanups, education and public
engagement.
Using the familiar and beloved character SpongeBob SquarePantsTM, the campaign leverages pop culture to blend fun with purpose, making ocean conservation engaging and relatable while inspiring families, youth and corporates to get involved.
It will culminate in The Great Ocean Dash Fun Run & Fun Fest on 23 November 2025 at Palawan Green, Sentosa. This finale event is expected to draw over 5,000 participants for 3KM and 5KM run categories, followed by a SpongeBob SquarePantsTM-themed fun festival featuring sustainability booths, interactive games, photo opportunities and activities for all ages.
