Sanctioned by the Asia Swimming Federation, the event is a qualification tournament for the World Aquatics Water Polo World Cup Division 2 event, which will be held in Berlin, Germany from May 1-7 2023. The top four men’s and women’s team will earn slots to compete among the world’s best.

The top four men’s and women’s team will earn slots to compete among the world’s best.
The Asian Water Polo Championships will see host Singapore take on regional powerhouses like Kazakhstan, China and Iran in the men’s competition. In the women’s competition, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will be the teams to watch.
