Post race interviews with Singapore's runners at the 2024 Sydney Marathon.

It was the biggest ever TCS Sydney Marathon Presented by ASICS, and a record number of Singaporeans were part of over 24,000 runners who flagged off at Miller Street in North Sydney. The city was in its final year as a candidate race to become an Abbot World Marathon Major, and will soon find out the results before the year's end. With the electrifying atmosphere that engulfed the capital of New South Wales on the morning of 15th September though, it's hard to imagine anything but a positive result.

He's featured at several races like already all over Singapore. This year, Samuel Chua is looking for a fresh set of challenges and he's set his eyes on one — the rolling hills of the TCS Sydney Marathon Presented by ASICS. Using his struggles from his first marathon last year as motivation, Samuel Chua hopes to overcome new challenges and achieve his goals at the upcoming Sydney Marathon.

A hustler through and through, Sydney Marathon-bound runner Muhammad Mulyadi juggles not only running and a full-time job, he is also a coach at Elevate Performance Coaching. With "Find Your Shadow" as his motto, Muhammad Mulyadi sees no limits and continues to push himself with Sydney Marathon now on the horizon.

It was all smiles at the Singapore Sports Hub as some 150 runners gathered last evening for the third and final Sydney Marathon: Singapore Chapter Community Run, just three weeks and five days to the TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS. Led by ASICS Running Club Head Coach Shah Feroz and the pacers from Superhero Runners and Garmin Run Club Singapore, participants were taken through their paces of a 6km or 8km run towards the Marina Barrage, running alongside trainees of the Garmin Training Camp for this October's Garmin Run 10km and 21km.

The event is the second of three Sydney Marathon Singapore Chapter activations that is slated to take place in the months leading up to this year's Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS on 15 September 2024, as part of overall efforts to engage with over 400 runners from Singapore who have signed up for this year's Sydney showpiece. The second Sydney Marathon Singapore Chapter run that was led by popular local running community Fast and Free Running Club had witnessed 300 sign-ups by Thursday - less than a week after registrations opened

Singapore runners who are bound for this year's Sydney Marathon can consider themselves fortunate to be able to have access to professional coaching services for marathon and endurance sport training, thanks to a partnership with Elevate Performance Coaching that was established earlier this year with Sydney Marathon Singapore Chapter with SportPlus.sg.
