14 JUNE 2026, JURONG EAST, SINGAPORE – The spiral ramps of Perennial Business City transformed into an absolute battlefield yesterday as 56 squads in Singapore pushed their limits in the high-octane On Squad Race Singapore.
In a thrilling display of speed and tactical genius, PRO Athletics Run Club (PARC) ultimately conquered the course to claim the top spot and an all-expenses-paid trip to the global finale in Los Angeles. The On Squad Race World Series will next make its stop in Jakarta next weekend before concluding its Southeast Asia tour in Bangkok the week after as part of the World Series.

On Squad Race Singapore: PARC Sprints to Victory in Thrilling Spiral Ramp Finale
The atmosphere reached a fever pitch last night as the On Squad Race Singapore culminated in a spectacular final showdown. In a high-stakes "fight to the finish," eight squads battled for supremacy on the demanding spiral carpark ramp, with PARC ultimately securing the championship title and a coveted trip to the global finale in Los Angeles this September.

A Razor-Thin Margin for Glory
The final was nothing short of a tactical masterclass, with the top of the leaderboard defined by intense competition where every second mattered. The parity among the top squads was remarkable, as five of the eight finalists shattered the seven-minute barrier, showcasing the growing depth of talent in the local running scene.

PRO Athletics Run Club (PARC) clinched the top spot with a blistering total time of 06:41.34. They were chased down to by TREX Athletics Club, who took a hard-fought second place in 06:48.34, overtaking and crossing the finish line just ahead of TRIBAL TRIATHLON SINGAPORE in third at 06:48.72. The precision of the relay exchanges was the difference-maker, with Team SportPlus finishing a competitive fourth in 06:53.51 and SUPERnatural+ rounding out the sub-seven-minute performances with a time of 06:59.92.

A High-Stakes Relay on the Ramp
The atmosphere was electric from the moment check-in opened at 3:00 PM, with squads eager to tackle the grueling 550–570m relay legs. In a thrilling display of speed and tactical genius, the teams navigated a complex scoring system that pushed athletes far beyond the traditional flat-road marathon experience.
The event featured 56 teams of four athletes each, all vying for a spot in the finals through a rigorous qualifying and progression format. The course, a demanding spiral carpark ramp, required each runner to descend and ascend, covering approximately 550m to 570m per lap.

The intensity was evident during the Quarter-Finals, where squads like Zephyr RC and TRIBAL TRIATHLON SINGAPORE set the pace with dominant performances, both finishing with 210 round points, including 100 place points, 100 speed bonus points, and 10 Ramp Royalty bonus points.
TREX Athletics Club and Team SportPlus also delivered impressive showings, securing 200 points each, winning their respective quarter finals of 8 squads each to progress to the semi-finals as favourites. Eventual champions PRO Athletics Run Club (PARC) progressed with 173 points while RUNDAYS FUNDAYS booked their spot with 170 points.

The Strategy Behind the Speed
The competition format was a ruthless test of strategy. Unlike conventional races, the scoring framework balanced raw speed with tactical depth. Each squad's total score was determined by a combination of race placement, overall "gun time" performance, and bonus points earned through pre-race "Squad Missions" and the in-race "Ramp Royalty" challenge, which rewarded the squad whose runner clocked the fastest lap time in each heat.
"The energy on the ramp was unlike anything I've experienced—it’s not just about how fast you run, but how perfectly your team coordinates those exchanges," one participant shared.
"You’re fighting gravity on the incline, but the adrenaline keeps you moving." Another athlete highlighted the importance of collective strategy: "We knew a single fast leg wouldn't carry us. It was all about the collective effort and playing the system, especially with the Ramp Royalty points on the line. "

Road to the Semifinals
As the event progressed, the field narrowed. By the end of the Quarter-Finals, the stage was set for the Semifinalists.
The road to the semi-finals saw the 56 squads battling it out across 7 heats of 8, with 32 progressing before another round of elimination began for the top 16 teams to book a semi-final berth.

16 squads earned their place in the high-intensity semi-finals, split into two competitive heats to determine who would advance to the final eight. The semi-finalists were:

"It’s more than just a race; it’s about that community bond and stepping completely out of your comfort zone," said Jessica, a member of one of the competing squads. "Seeing everyone in their gear, pushing through the heat and those steep turns—it’s just such a vibrant way to celebrate what our local fitness scene is all about."
As the event concluded with the Podium Party, the consensus was clear: the On Squad Race has set a new benchmark for competitive team relay events in Singapore.
