SINGAPORE, 1 AUGUST 2026 - Singapore football enters a bold new era. In a landmark multi-year partnership, the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) and adidas have joined forces, marking the official transition of The Lions into the iconic Three Stripes.

Unveiled today, the partnership brings together one of the world's leading sportswear giants and Singapore’s national football team in a shared mission to elevate the local game from grassroots development up to the international stage.

A New Look for The Lions: Home and Away Kits Unveiled

To celebrate the launch, adidas and FAS have revealed the highly anticipated 2026 Singapore National Team Home and Away kits. Designed through months of rigorous collaboration, the new strips bridge Singapore’s rich football heritage with cutting-edge athletic engineering.

  • The Home Kit: Retains the iconic all-red look, elevated with sophisticated navy blue and white accents on the collar and sleeves. Subtly woven into the fabric are graphic waves symbolizing Singapore's spirit—calm on the surface, driven by an unstoppable, relentless current underneath.

  • The Away Kit: Marks the triumphant return of Coventry Blue, a direct callback to the celebrated 1977 national kit that honors generations of past players and supporters.

Both kits are packed with CLIMACOOL+ technology, ensuring optimal airflow and cooling performance tailored for Singapore's tropical climate. Notably, the jerseys feature special lenticular crests, while the Away kit proudly bears the adidas Trefoil—a distinction typically reserved for elite global federations like Argentina, Germany, and Japan.

"Putting on the National Team jersey should always feel special, and adidas understands the importance of that connection between performance, identity, and pride." — Hariss Harun, Captain of the Singapore National Team

Fans will get their first live look at The Lions wearing the new strip on 7 August, during the team's first home fixture under the new partnership.

Community-First: Pricing, Accessibility, and Culturewear

Unlike many major international kit drops that strain supporters' wallets, FAS and adidas have placed a strong emphasis on accessibility:

  • Replica Jerseys: Retailing affordably at $99.

  • Authentic On-Field Jerseys: Available for serious collectors and players at $169.

  • Inclusive Sizing: The full range is available in dedicated men’s, women’s, and youth sizes.

In addition to match kits, the partnership introduces an exciting culturewear collection. Kicking off the drop is a special-edition tee designed in collaboration with local visual artist Slac Satu, featuring the rallying cry "Satu Nada" drawn from Singabrigade chants.

Investing Beyond the National Team: SPL, Youth, and Grassroots

The multi-year agreement extends far beyond the senior national squad. adidas will also serve as the official supplier of the Match Ball for the Singapore Premier League (SPL) and the Singapore Cup.

By supporting local youth academies, grassroots pathways, and future community initiatives, the partnership aims to lower barriers to entry and empower the next generation of Singaporean footballers to believe, "You Got This!"

Furthermore, following the 2026 FIFA World Cup season, plans are underway to attract top-tier international teams to Singapore for friendlies, giving local players invaluable exposure against global stars.

Chen Ruiyuan, Country Manager of adidas Singapore, said: “adidas believes that sport has the

power to change lives, and FAS shares our belief. Globally, football is a part of the adidas DNA,

and in Singapore, our team is ready to extend this dedication to serve the Singaporean

community. We believe that we are the brand to support the next chapter of the FAS and bring

Singapore football forward.”

Forrest Li, President of the Football Association of Singapore, said: “We are grateful to have

adidas join us as a long-term partner of Singapore football. Their commitment and support will

play an important role in advancing the game. We hope this partnership inspires more

organisations and Singaporeans to step forward and join us in our journey to bring the pride and

joy back to the sport we love.”
