About the Event

Sometimes we become so stressed or exhausted that we disconnect from our selves, feeling numb and losing our sense of vitality, making it difficult to move through day to day tasks with comfort and ease. Yoga offers many easily accessible tools for maintaining and boosting vitality.

This session is designed to restore body & mind balance, invigorate your energy systems, awaken digestion and increase mobility which will accommodate the free flow of breath and natural curve of the spine.

How will the class unfold?

We start off with some stretching warm up that brings heat into the joints and promotes optimal energy flow, opening the nerve channels to receive morning life force. Special emphasis is placed on standing poses that strengthens the ligaments and tone the muscles.

Proper spinal alignment is stressed, while safe backbends are introduced to energize the body and induce a radiant and positive mood.

Furthermore, seated spinal twists are interspersed throughout the practice to boost the morning detoxification processes in the body and help eliminate excess waste.

Rejuvenating breathing techniques infuse this morning routine with psycho-physical benefits. The practice ends with a meditation to quiet the mind, foster acceptance and remind ourselves that we are firmly rooted in the present moment that is always exciting and new.

Who is it for?

This class is suited for those who are interested in gently and safely strengthening their body in order to prevent injury, improve functional fitness, move through day to day tasks with more comfort and ease, and to get rid of the aches and pains that hold you back from doing what you want to do.

No flexibility required! Every class is led by showcasing levels of modifications for every pose.
